The honest answer which might not at first appear to be very helpful is, “it depends”.

When people think about clearing their Household Rubbish or Maybe Builders Waste, usually the first solution they think of is getting skip. However, there are few things to consider before settling your option.

Skip Hire

If your project is a longer-term project, the first two weeks is usually included in the price of a skip. Access is good and the project is on private property a skip is likely to be a great option. Especially if waste to be taken away is dense and heavy such as soil as Skips are delivered by HGV vehicles with their heavier carrying capacity.

Please be aware that often you will be required to put plasterboard in a separate skip or if an only a small quantity a separate charge may be made.

We do accept mattresses, Fridges, and electrical appliances in our skips, but extra charges will apply as these need to be recycled separately at the recycling centre.

We have a range of skips for all sizes of projects

Super Mini Skip Hire – Equivalent to 45 black bags (4 cubic yards | 3.05m3)
Mini Skip Hire – Equivalent to 65 black bags (6 cubic yards | 4.6m3)

Maxi Skip Hire – Equivalent to 120 black bags (12 cubic yards | 9.2m3)

Man, And Van Rubbish Removal

Our Cheap Two Person Man and van rubbish collection service is a great alternative to skip hire, when you don’t want to stockpile and lift the items yourself. You don’t want to create separate piles different types of rubbish and sort it before collection.

If access is tight and there is not enough room for a skip, or the collection is not on private land.

The waste collection service is required urgently.

You might want a skip, but the only place can put it is on the highway and you don’t have time or can’t organise a permit. * Ask about our skip wait and load option, but time will be limited.

You don’t want to carry the waste yourself and want someone else to do all the carrying.

I have items such as household furniture, mattresses, fridges, and freezers etc that I will be charges extra for in a skip anyway.

The bonus is we always sweep up after ourselves.
